Makin’ Waves introduces Calvin, a sailor whose enlistment quickly evolves into a series of life-altering experiences, thrusting him into secretive missions that demand courage and adaptability. Romantic entanglements and themes of survival, trust, and self-discovery are weaved into an unforgettable narrative about finding one’s true self amid the unpredictability of life.
G. Bradley Davis is a natural-born storyteller and Navy veteran whose journey from oral storytelling to the written word was shaped by his experiences in military service, academic challenges due to undiagnosed ADHD, and a lifelong passion for connecting with others. He began his higher education aboard the USS Blue Ridge and later earned a degree from Temple University, where he studied journalism and advertising. With the support of his wife, an English teacher, G. Bradley transitioned from non-fiction to fiction, drawing on real-life events and his time in Naval Intelligence to craft compelling stories. His novels, Bellamy and Makin’ Waves, follow the adventures of Calvin Lloyd and blend mystery, humor, and heartfelt insight. Through his writing, public appearances, and reader engagement, G. Bradley aims to foster empathy, celebrate diverse perspectives, and take readers on unforgettable journeys.
